January Girl was originally conceptualized by ArmstrongWW in the mountains of Tennessee during a session with producer Misticat and vocalist Johnny Noble. Upon returning to his hometown of Houston, ArmstrongWW got in contact with instrumentalist Daniel Avilla who laid down the finishing touches on the now signature January Girl guitar solo.
