Cameroon-born Houston-based musician/songwriter ArmstrongWW makes his debut with Melting Pot Music. The single ‘Call You?’ will be released on April 20th, accompanied by a music video.

ArmstrongWW started writing his first songs at the age of six. At seven, he moved from Cameroon to the US, where he self-released his first single „ Je T’aime“ when he was seventeen. Inspired by the likes of Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, and Tyler The Creator, he connects Hip-Hop and Neo-Soul with an unnamed sound of its own. And it is this unnamed sound that makes ArmstrongWW special.

The soulfully energetic yet somber track ‘Call You?’ is the first outing from the young artist in 2022 after gaining attention with previous singles ‘For You’, ‘Butterfly Revolution’, ‘Imperfect’ and ‘Truth Never Lies’, attaching each song to the hidden layers of his personality.

The single focuses on the aspects of Armstrong’s life that often spiral out of control whenever he is presented with temptation. These temptations are compared to the sound of a phone call which entices listeners to answer with every ring, or in this case every bar and harmonized melody.

The visuals of ‘Call You?’, including the music video, are all directed and shot by Houston visual artist and longtime friend Luz Castilla aka LuzC. This collaboration is one of many as LuzC is known for accentuating emotion through colors and showcases this skill in this release by depicting a series of flashbacks of ArmstrongWW being hunted by a demented masked version of himself.
